We work with our customers to document post-installation energy and cost savings. We further coordinate and verify projects submitted under local utility programs for either demand and/or energy savings. Our projects have resulted in an average 29% reduction in verified energy use for customers compressed air systems. This includes over $6.1 million of verified cost savings, with an average simple payback of less than one year on each project.
Our holistic approach involves all aspects of air systems including direct reduction of demand and energy, operations and maintenance changes, as well as equipment installation. The majority of savings came from better controls and O&M practices, as well as improved system design and utilization. Our approach is focused on optimizing the existing system before exploring options of new, expensive equipment.
